I tried to go for a more niftier, contemporary look that complemented the graphic art feel for Homeworld 2 and draw a clear distinction between the older and newer titles. Connoisseurs will note the RTSC:HW colours are not as sumptuous as the RTSC:HW2 ones. Unfortunately, subtleties turn to unreadable mush if it gets too low-rez...

Linking to RTSC Dawn of War

Here's a selection of icons! DoW seems to lend itself to lots of variation, especially with all the weirdos that populate it. I did a Squiggoth one first, but wondered if it was a little unreadable, so I went for my next fave character: the Big Mek (and Burna sidekick). I'll probably knock up some more, one for each army...
